The idea came about after we heard from our customers, who repeatedly described the same need: an air conditioning system that works even on the hottest days with the engine switched off. There was no alternative on the market for vehicles with pop-up roofs, and that’s what prompted us to take on the challenge.
You wanted a truly autonomous system that is connected directly to the battery and offers freedom and comfort without compromising on functionality. And you had one fundamental requirement: the vehicle’s dimensions, particularly its height, should remain unchanged. After all, it is not just a means of transport, but a faithful companion for everyday life, spontaneous trips and unforgettable holidays.
With this motivation in mind, we set to work. After a year of hard work, enthusiasm and development, we can now proudly say that this concept has become a reality.

The air distribution ducts, as well as the swivelling outlets and the associated supply and extract air elements, are not included in the scope of the quoted works. Any delivery, installation or modification relating to these components must be assessed separately and invoiced as an additional service.

Power levels
OPENAIR BASE allows you to choose between two cooling power levels depending on your needs.
- Mode 1.2: 1,200 W cooling power.
- Mode 2.0: up to 1,900 W for the most demanding situations.
Thanks to Full Inverter technology, both modes always maintain a balance between performance and energy consumption.
Hidden Technology
OPENAIR BASE is mounted beneath the chassis; this design allows you to retain roof hatches, solar panels, skylights and pop-up roofs, whilst preserving the vehicle’s original appearance.
Dual-module architecture
The outdoor unit, installed beneath the chassis, houses the full inverter compressor, the condenser, the electric fan and all the power electronics.
Inside the vehicle, only the evaporator and the high-efficiency fan remain concealed, perfectly integrated into the vehicle’s interior fittings.
