Enable seamless and secure integration of your air conditioning system: The Bergstrom OpenAir Plus mounting kit has been specially developed to install the powerful OpenAir Plus roof system in existing roof openings with standard dimensions of 700 x 500 mm.
This kit is the ideal solution for motorhomes and recreational vehicles where an existing roof hatch needs to be replaced with a modern air conditioning system without weakening the vehicle structure with new cutouts.

Important installation note for panel vans
Please note that additional components are required when installing the air conditioner on a panel van with a corrugated metal roof:
- Use: This mounting kit serves as the basis for installation on uneven roof structures.
- Additionally required: To ensure complete sealing and a precise fit on the specific corrugations of the vehicle roof, this item must be installed in combination with a vehicle-specific adapter frame.
- Note: The vehicle-specific adapter frame is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately to match your vehicle model (e.g., Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter, etc.).
Why is this important? Due to their design, panel van roofs have corrugations (waves in the sheet metal). The vehicle-specific adapter perfectly compensates for these unevennesses, while the mounting kit offered here ensures the internal mechanical connection to the air conditioning system. Only this combination guarantees permanent tightness and stability.
